FAQ
Do reminders work if I quit the browser?
No. The browser itself (Chrome, Edge, Safari…) needs to be running, but you can close the tab or window. If your computer was asleep, reminders arrive once it wakes up.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, on iOS 16.4 or later. Open this page in Safari, tap Share → ‘Add to Home Screen’, then open it from the new icon and set your reminders there.
I'm not getting notifications.
Try ‘Test in 5s’ first. If the test doesn't show either, notifications are probably blocked in your browser's site settings, or Do Not Disturb / Focus mode is on.
Notifications don't show up on my Mac.
macOS can block notifications per app. Go to System Settings → Notifications → Google Chrome and turn on ‘Allow notifications’. Set the style to ‘Alerts’ to keep them on screen until you dismiss them. Using Safari? Turn it on for Safari on the same screen.
There's no sound.
Sound follows your OS settings. On macOS, turn on ‘Play sound for notifications’ under System Settings → Notifications → Google Chrome. On Windows, go to Settings → System → Notifications and enable sound for your browser. On phones, check silent mode too.
Reminders arrive late.
Our server checks for due reminders every minute, so they can be up to about a minute late. If your computer was asleep or offline, they arrive after it reconnects.
Do I need an account?
No. Reminders are tied to the browser you're using right now, so they won't show up in another browser or on another device.
When is the history deleted?
Sent reminders disappear automatically after 24 hours. To remove one sooner, click ‘Delete’ in the list.
